GACClite - A Prologue to GACC2009

Oh? Extra hours between classes? We will help to KILL THAT EXTRA HOURS!

GACClite is a small-scale version of Games Anime Comic Circle ( GACC ), organized by EMiNA Japanese Animation Club.

A small event targeted for bored students of MMU and other ACG goers in Melaka. Think of it as a "gathering" instead of an event ^_^.

Details

GACClite will be held on 14-16 April 2009 at Multimedia University Melaka Campus's FBLR0006. There will be 2 sessions. Day and Night sessions.

Day Session will be from 10am - 6pm. Night Session will be from 8pm-10pm.

Important note: Unregistered vehicles are not allowed to enter campus without visitor's pass. Visitors pass can be obtained from the Security booth near the front entrance of MMU. Or, you can always park outside if you want to.

Oh, although it's a small event, we still try our best to cater you will a lot of interesting contents.

Art Jam

Time to make awesome arts on a "very" big paper, together-gether with other ACG goers. The same paper will be used for 3 days. Remember to bring your own "weapons".

Console & Doujin Games

Get together with other at our gaming stations. Maybe this is the time to show off that l33t skillz of yours.

Empty Stage

First time in ANY conventions in Malaysia : we feature you... an EMPTY STAGE.

( Warning : Sleeping on the stage is "not" safe )

Figurine Exhibition

Few of our members wants to show off his figurine collections. Yeah, they're want to brag about it >_>

( Warning : Please.. "behave".. )

Merchandise Sales

Get your ACG merchandise at discounted rates for this special occasion. Especially that Gundam models that you've been craving for since Setsuna F Seiei got his awesome 00 Raiser. We got lotsa Gashapon dispensers too.

Maid Cafe

Yep! We have a small maid cafe.

The waitresses ( dressed in maid outfit of course ^_^ ) will serve you our special signature Mocktails and homemade Meat Sandwiches. It's so good that you'll crave for more.. especially the awesome Meat Sandwiches.

Night Screening

In the night session, we will screen specially selected animes so you can enjoy it with other ACG goers.

( Warning : We are not going to be responsible if you started to hate watching anime alone at home after attending this )

Random Music in the Background

Yeah, request your music and we will air it. Don't request the same song over and over again though.

WHY WEEKDAYS!? WHY!!?

This event is targeted for our club members, and other bored MMU students. We are not expecting non-MMUians much hence we had to organize this on weekdays, when students are having their classes.

Don't worry, we still have GACC2009, remember? ^_^

FREE Entrance?

Of course! EMiNA always let people enter their events for free! We don't charge people just because they wanna enter the hall and feed their curiousity ^_^

Why are you organizing this anyway?

Since GACC2009 has been pushed to August 2009, we want to try to fill in GACC's usual spot with something. Hence, we came up with GACClite - the prologue for GACC2009. Also serves the starting point of GACC2009 promotion campaign. ^_^

You guys providing shuttle buses, like GACC?

Sadly, we can't afford that for our small event. T_T

Uh.. What's with the EMPTY STAGE!?

Oh. That. Because there's nothing on stage? Of course, you guys can conquer the stage and do watever you want ( doing Hare Hare Yukai dance for 99 times continuously are strictly not allowed ). Read the "warning" first.

How come there's no cosplay-related event? Can I cosplay?

We are not expecting many cosplayers hence we decided not to organize any cosplay-related event. Well, you can cosplay in our event but don't expect too much from Melaka crowd T_T. Other "narrow-minded" students outside the hall might disturb you though. Srsly.

The hall, is your sanctuary. You're safe inside XD.

My drawing sucks. Can I still participate in the Art Jam? T_T

Lol. We are not there to judge your artwork. We are there to have fun! It doesn't matter if you can only draw stick figures. Go ahead, don't be shy. ^_^

Sorry to say that we can't serve liqour in campus... obviously =_=. We have to respect our Muslim friends too, ya know.

Maybe you're expecting to much from this event. Note that this event is a small scale event, not large-scale event like GACC. Anyway, if you have any suggestions to make this event better, do tell us! We would gladly hear out your suggestions.
